| LSx Based V8 RX8 Mounting Equipment |
Hinson Motorsports is proud to release the first mounting equipment solution for the Mazda RX8 with a LSx based V8 engine. This solution will work with an LS based V8. This includes truck engines, LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LSA, LS9, L92, etc.
Due to the design of the chassis, the installation of the V8 engine will require some modifications to the car. Some welding is required. There is no reason to be concerned if you're not a welder/fabricater. We include directions that can be given to the fabricator helping you. The welding portion of the installation can be done by trailering the car to an appropriate shop. The welding cost will vary regionally, but it should not be expensive.

Mounting equipment includes the following:
Urethane Engine Mounts
Billet CNC Engine Stands
New Tie Rod Ends
Steering Adapter
Steering Rack Mounts
Transmission Brace and weld on mount plates
Torque Arm (Differential Support) & Mount
New front sway bar mounts are required but not included in the base kit. Please add the package below if desired. They can always be purchased later and will be listed for purchase shortly.
