Cold air intakes are important for performance. Colder air is more dense and makes more power in the combustion cycle. These are especially critical in late model EFI performance applications. The GM Gen III & IV LSX platforms use an air intake temperature sensor which plays a role in the air/fuel mixture controled by the ECU. This system insures peak and reliable performance.
The system includes all clamps, rubber 90° reducing elbow, polished 16 ga. aluminum tubing for light weight, silicon couplers, and K&N filter.
