 LSx V8 Cooling System 350Z / G35
The factory Nissan cooling system in these cars is very good. In an effort to keep costs down, we have tried using the factory Nissan radiator and fans with the first LS2 conversion. It has worked fine as of now (6/16/08). The Summer heat will be the true test for the system. For those looking for an improvement, we will also make a higher performance aluminum version available.
While you can use the factory radiator and fans, you will still need the following parts.

S-Blades mean power and efficiency.
The swoopy, highly curved scimitar blades in Flex-a-lite's Syclone S-Blade electric fans mean that they're very quiet and efficient. What's more, they can recover up to 17 HP and 20 ft.-lbs. of torque that are stolen by typical belt-driven fans. Syclones can be used as primary or auxiliary fans, and they're reversible, too. So they can push or pull the air, and lots of it--up to 2,500 cfm--while drawing just 17 amps. These fans mount through the radiator core, and come with rugged nylon shrouds engineered to withstand high temperatures. |

| Vibration Dampeners |
Rubber absorbing mounts install easily and provide vibration control between the radiator and mounting point.
A vibration mount is required for the installation of our aluminum radiators. Rubber isolators are standard practice for radiators in all cars.
Failure to install an isolator will void the warranty on your radiator. Please contact us with any questions. |
