This LSD upgrade is recommended for our customers who will spend a lot of time at the drag strip or drifting. The stock differential is strong for a factory piece, but it will not live when exposed to drag tires & high horsepower. We broke the Mazda LSD & case on an eighth to quarter mile equivalent pass of a high 10 second pass. We successfully ran the KAAZ differential in to eight second quarter mile territory. If you're going to be racing hard, it is cheaper to replace the stock differential before you break it.
