All H7 turn-key cars are built to our base configuration and upgraded to the customer's requested level. Construction times vary
based on the build specific options, but we average between 8-10 weeks on standard builds. We offer many available
upgrades listed but not limited to what is on our website. We are constantly building custom cars for customers, so let us
know what we can do for you.
Our base building cost is $7,450 plus the cost of the engine and transmission. The price includes the following parts.
HSC is a full race shop with engine and chassis building capabilites. We are dealers for most popular aftermarket items,
so we can source all of your miscellaneous parts requests. However, please note that additional parts & labor requests are not
covered in our base pricing.
We try to keep a couple engine setups in stock and ocassionally have cars available for sale. All turnkey customers have the option to buy the engine & transmission on their own.
TIPS FOR PURCHASING A CAR FOR THE CONVERSION: Automatic transmission RX7s typically sell for much less than the manual counterpart. Capitalize on this cost savings because
it is not difficult to change the transmission in this conversion.
It is important that the interior of the car be in good condition. The plastics inside the car can be expensive to replace. You should
expect wear on the drivers side seat if equipped with a leather interior.
The exterior finish of the car is the final consideration. The used RX7 market has a wide range between cars with attractive finish
and those without. We feel it is in the customer's best interest to purchase a car with a straight body (ie, minimal body damage) that
may need paint work. With this approach, the customer saves money on the intial purchase that can later be spent on making the car look
as good as it will perform.
We are currently working with Barker's Custom & Collision in Cottondale, AL for all paint jobs. Barkers will use only the highest quality
PPG products, and with their attention to detail, the finished cars are ready for the show circuit. Complete paint jobs, including
color swaps, start at $4,000 and include minor body repair. As with all paint jobs, estimates on damaged vehicles can only be done in person.
