Hot Part Turbo Kit for LSX V8 FD RX7

We are proud to release the first mail order turbo kit for the LSx V8 FD RX7. This is another innovation and advancement only available through Hinson Motorsports. This complete system is made from 304SS and is ready for the street & track.

The turbo system uses a T4 flange. Most of the LSx V8 applications will use a turbo size between a 62mm-78mm. This range will cover 650-1,000 flywheel horsepower. Turbos from Turbonetics and Precision Turbo are available directly through Hinson Motorsports. Contact us today for a custom size recommendation.

We designed the system to work with Tial V44 wastegate. These are available directly through us. Simply add it to the kit below and click the update button.

The system places the turbo low on the passenger side. The down pipe is routed by the frame rail where the Camaro/Firebird LSx AC compressor would mount. Installing the turbo system will result in removing AC for most applications, but a high mounted AC compressor is possible. We currently do not support AC installations with the turbo kit.




The hot part kit includes two headers, cross over tube, turbo mounting pipe with bracket, and down pipe. The system includes vband and slip fit connections.

 


The system has been tested and proven on multiple cars. Some of these street cars make over 800hp. These test vehicles have allowed us to continually improve the design leading to what we are offering today.
